Arsenal are continuing to monitor Antonio Nusa, who has made a hallmark start to the season at RB Leipzig. The Norwegian has recently reminded fans of his affinity for the London club, and former scout Brian King is confident that the winger is ready for the Premier League.

Arsenal are actively tracking Antonio Nusa, with the 21-year-old winger from RB Leipzig making waves following a strong start to the season. His long-held admiration for the Gunners is drawing renewed attention from the London club.

Nusa has hit the ground running this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in six appearances. Arsenal have previously shown interest in the Norwegian, viewing him as a potential asset to bolster their left flank.

Former scout for Tottenham, Everton, and Aston Villa, Brian King, believes Nusa is poised for the next step in his career.

He remarked:

I like him. I first noticed him at Stabaek. Even then, he was being touted by several Premier League and Championship clubs.

At just 21 years old, he’s already a highly talented player. Watching him on the wing is genuinely a treat. I believe he will become a player of high calibre.

King also highlighted Nusa’s connection with Martin Odegaard, who wears the captain's armband for both Arsenal and the Norwegian national team.

He knows the captain well, doesn’t he?

I think when discussions about potential transfers arise, the captain’s opinion may hold weight. I wouldn’t be surprised if Odegaard mentioned Nusa.

Clubs are definitely keeping tabs on him. He would be a solid acquisition for many teams, and in my view, he’s ready for the Premier League.

The rumour mill has gained further traction following a recent social media clip from RB Leipzig.

Nusa and Castello Lukeba were asked to name the same club simultaneously. Lukeba chose Leipzig, while Nusa responded: “Arsenal.”

When asked to explain his choice, Nusa stumbled over his words and laughed it off.

While this incident alone doesn’t indicate an imminent transfer, it did catch the attention of fans given that Nusa has previously confessed to supporting Arsenal in his youth.

Despite approaching interest from various English clubs this summer, Nusa remained at RB Leipzig. However, with his impressive start to the season, he has once again emerged as a notable transfer target for Arsenal.
