According to talkSPORT, Arsenal are considering Como defender Jacobo Ramon as a backup option. Their priority remains on Ezri Konsa and Jarrell Quansah. A potential issue for Ramon's transfer could be Real Madrid's buy-back clause.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal have identified central defender Jacobo Ramon from Como as an alternative target to bolster their defence.
The Gunners currently prioritise the acquisition of Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa or Jarrell Quansah from Bayer Leverkusen.
However, both clubs are reluctant to part ways with their key defenders.
The Birmingham club is demanding £65 million for Konsa, nearly double Arsenal's initial offer.
Meanwhile, Bayer have yet to reveal their asking price for Quansah.
If the North London outfit fails to secure either of them, they may shift their focus to Ramon.
But there could be an unexpected snag in this potential deal, as Real Madrid have retained a buy-back clause on their former player, who joined Como last year.
