Arsenal are showing increasing interest in 18-year-old winger Rio Ngumoha from Liverpool, according to insider Alan Nixon.
The Gunners are hoping to lure the promising talent away, particularly if he struggles to secure a place in Liverpool's attack on the left flank. Competition is fierce at Anfield, especially with the arrival of Bradley Barcola, alongside established players like Cody Gakpo. Liverpool's manager Andoni Iraola has been rotating his options across the wings, giving Ngumoha opportunities on both sides of attack.
However, Liverpool have no intention of letting their youth prospect go easily. Having recently turned 18, the club is already preparing a new long-term contract for him. Previously, they took a firm stance by rejecting an approach from Bayern Munich. Nonetheless, Arsenal are optimistic that a lack of playing time might encourage the teenager to consider a switch.
