Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Warton has addressed speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool. The 22-year-old England international didn't hide his childhood affection for the Merseyside club and admitted he’s flattered by the interest from such a top side.
The player shared his emotions regarding a potential transfer:
I’ve seen those rumours. Right now, I can’t say too much… but Liverpool has always been a club I loved since childhood. I grew up watching their games and dreaming of playing at Anfield one day.
Seeing my name associated with Liverpool is definitely something special. They are among the greatest clubs in the world, and joining them would be an incredible opportunity for me.
At the moment, I’m fully focused on my football, and I’ll let the clubs sort out everything that happens behind the scenes.
